Nashville Pagan Pride is about coming together as Pagans, Wiccans, Heathens, and other practitioners of polytheist, earth-based, and Goddess based religions to celebrate our common goals and diverse paths. Though we may all look at deity a bit differently, what we do agree on is that our faiths are too often misrepresented and the best way to fix it is to get out and show people who we really are:

• People who care about their faiths, their world, and their deities.
• People who try to make  the world a better place through acts of kindness, faith, and prayer, and magic.
• People working, taking care of their families, taking care of themselves, and just living life.
• People just like anyone else, but with a different set of religious beliefs.

Neopaganism is one of the fastest growing religious movements in the US today, not because we are proselytizing (we're actually against it), but because Neopaganism offers alternatives to the mainstream faiths; alternatives acknowledging the natural world and the Gods as we see Them and know Them, or as history has known Them. We're not asking people to join us; we're spreading understanding so that we can all live together without fear regardless of our faiths.
